Ronald Lee Stebner's Obituary
Ronald Lee Stebner, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born in Midland, Michigan to Richard and Mabel Stebner, Ron spent much of his life in the Great Lakes State, working as a proud union welder with Local 85. In 2004, he made his way south to central Florida from Wixom Lake, bringing with him the warmth, generosity, and humor that endeared him to so many.
Ron was the kind of man who made friends wherever he went. He had a natural gift for connection—people simply enjoyed being around him. Whether it was lending a hand, offering advice, or just sharing a laugh, Ron was always there. He would do anything for you, and he meant it.
A car enthusiast with a keen eye for a good deal, Ron loved attending auctions and often helped friends find vehicles at his own cost—never seeking profit, only joy in helping others. He was an honorary member of the American Legion, a testament to his deep respect for service and community.
Ron’s passions were simple and sincere. He loved football—especially cheering on the Detroit Lions and the Michigan Wolverines—and could often be found enjoying a good game or a round of golf on TV. He was also a talented cook, known for whipping up meals that brought people together.
Even in his later years, Ron remained surrounded by love. His nursing home room was rarely quiet, filled with visits from friends and family who cherished his company.
Ron is survived by his brother, Mark (Bev) Stebner; nieces Leann (Tyler) Sanders and Lindsey Stebner; great-niece, Anderson Sanders; great-nephew, Zane Sanders and his uncle, Ernie Wright. His legacy lives on in the kindness he showed, the laughter he shared, and the lives he touched.
He was, simply put, a good guy. And he will be deeply missed.
🕊️ Rest easy, Ron. Your warmth and generosity will never be forgotten.
