Ronald Lee Phillips' Obituary
Ronald Lee Phillips, age 78, of Eustis passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. He was born May 3, 1938 in Miami, FL and moved to Lake County in 2001. He was a food broker with Bonacker & Leigh Corporation in Miami, where he retired after 27 years as the Vice President. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and continued his love of boating and living on the water for the rest of his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Umatilla. He is survived by his wife, Merry Lynn Phillips of Eustis, FL; mother, Annie Louise Phillips; son, Frank (Cathy) Phillips of Mt. Plymouth, FL; daughter, Merry Lee (Scott) Worrell of Eustis, FL; sister, Sue (Joe) Carson of Tavares, FL; grandchildren, Wade Scott Worrell, Katherine Lynn Worrell, Anna Lee Worrell, Emily Ann Phillips, Abigail Lynn Phillips; and great-grandson, Scott Fernandes Worrell. A celebration of Ron's life will be held by his family on Saturday, August 20th from 11 AM until 2 PM at the home of Merry Lee and Scott Worrell, 1841 Lake Terrace Drive, Eustis.
