Ronald Gene Moore's Obituary
Ronald “Gene” Moore passed peacefully into glory in the early morning of Sunday, January 26, 2025. Surviving his death is his devoted wife, Caroline Judy Moore, with whom he shared nearly 58 years in a loving marriage. Gene is also survived by his two daughters, Angela and Lorinda, their spouses, David and Jim, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Sarah, Summer, Benjamin, and Cherish, and sister, Anita.
Gene was born in Tampa, Florida, on September 17th, 1938, to Ruth and Henry Moore. At the age of 19, he joined the Army Reserves and spent time in South Carolina at Fort Jackson where he served for a few months before returning home. After his time in the service, Gene moved to Orlando, met Caroline, and had their two loving daughters. During this time, he began a career as a professional printer and continued that job till retirement. In his free time, Gene enjoyed attending to his garden and being the family mechanic. Above all else, he treasured the life that he had given to Christ. It is through his trust in Jesus Christ for salvation that gives his family comfort that they will see him again.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday February 1, 2025 from 10 AM- 11 AM, with a service to follow at West Orlando Baptist Church in Ocoee, Florida. At 2 PM on Saturday February 1, 2025 there will be the burial at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, Florida.
Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
