Rodney W. Carr's Obituary
Rodney W. Carr 69, of Brewer, Maine, passed away on April 24, 2011. He was born in Danforth, Maine. Rodney was Baptist and an accomplished musician, his happiest times were when he was at his piano. He had a keen interest in politics and love for antiques and a hobby of restoring fine art. He was a Veteran having served in the United States Army. Mr. Carr is survived by his children Barbara Carey of Old Town, Maine, Renae Muscatell of Bradley, Maine, Rodney “Toby” (Fiancé Kelly) Carr of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, David (Heather) Carr of Augusta, Maine, Robin (Jamie) Carr-Slauenwhite of Lincoln, Maine, Paul (Cindy) Carr of Belfast, Maine and Stephen (Rosie) Carr of Bangor, Maine, his grandchildren Whitney Carey, Lily Muscatell, Annabelle Muscatell, Abby Slauenwhite, Noah Slauenwhite, Landon Carr, Stephen Carr, Jasmine Carr, Jubilee Carr and Tyler Carr, his sister Marilyn Weatherbee of Lincoln, Maine, a dear friend Charles Stratton of Augusta, Maine and several nieces and nephews. Rodney was predeceased by four brothers Dana, Kenneth, Irvin and Clifford. The family received friends at the Birmingham Funeral Home, Old Town, Maine on Saturday April 30th from 2 until 4 PM, services began at 4PM.
