Robert was the kind of son that every parent would want. He was kind, respectful and honest. He loved to be kind to people especially the elderly and would help them any way that he could. I miss him and wish that he was here with us again. Walt, James and I think of him every day, and I sure miss him when we bowl.
Robert was My best friend. We had gone thru so many good and hard times together and It still hits me hard that he's gone. One of my favorite memories of him is this. One Sunday during church DK was doing his usual story time for the kids. But there was only one kid and he was new. Because he was new he didn't want to sit up front by himself. Without a second thought Robert looked at me, said come on brother, and walked up to the front of the church so the new kid wasn't by himself. This was the kind of man Robert was. Willing to do anything to make someone else smile. R.I.P. my friend. R.I.P. my brother.
Robert was part of our daycare family at Little Gems and through the years Our families became good friends.Hehad a wonderful sense of humor and always made me laugh!!!My thoughts and prayers are with his family .
I remember Robert's cheerful spirit and frequent help when we were serving others through Angel Food Ministries and OneHarvest Ministries. He was a help to have around!
