Robert A. Rose's Obituary
Robert A. Rose 50, of Eustis, passed away on May 25, 2014. He was born in Kenmore, New York and came to this area in 1978. He was an employee of Halliday Products of Orlando for the last 27 years. Robert was a 1982 graduate of Tavares High School, and a member of the Tampa Bay Area Racing Association, a sprint car racing group. He is survived by his wife Melanie; they have been together for 25 years, also surviving are his children Blake Rose, Matthew Lanier and Anna Lisa Lanier, all of Eustis, parents; Tommy & Dorothy Rose of Leesburg, Florida, brother; Eugene “Buddy” (Barbara) Blair of Leesburg, sisters; Kitty (Ken) Irwin of Punta Gorda, Florida, Joy Ziss of Pine Island, Florida, Loretta (Bob) Driskel of Colorado and Debbie Rose (Rick) Schirm of North Palm Beach, Florida and his niece and nephews; Thomas Ziss, Jason Michel, Ryan Driskel and Jetta Rose. Robert was predeceased by his brother; Billy Rose. There will be a gathering at the Cassia Community Club on Saturday, May 31st at 11 AM. There will be a short memorial service with military honors. The family gratefully declines flowers and requests memorials be given to Melanie for an education fund.
