Robert B. Johnson's Obituary
Robert Bernard Johnson 88, of Grand Island, passed away on November 24, 2013. He was born in Elmira, New York and moved here from Tallahassee in 1996. He was Catholic and worked many years selling building supplies, additionally he was the manager of the Columbia Island Marina in Washington, D.C. for ten years. Robert was a United States Navy Veteran having served in World War II, he was a volunteer poll worker in Lake County for fifteen years and a member of Eustis Lodge 1578 B.P.O.E.
Those desiring are requested to make donations in Robert’s memory to the American Cancer Society. The final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Anna, they were married for 63 years, also surviving are his sister Celeste Crawford of Cooper City, Florida and nine nieces and nephews.
