Robert B. Hart, Jr.'s Obituary
Robert B. Hart, Jr. of Apopka, Florida passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. He was 84. Bob was born in East Orange, New Jersey. He moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where he graduated from high school. Bob joined the US Army and proudly served his country from 1958 – 1962, serving as a radio relay and electronic navigation repairman.
After his military service, he lived in the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he worked for AT&T until 1970, when he returned to Florida. He went to work for Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Company while he continued his education attending Valencia Community College and Seminole Junior College, where he Majored in General Business Administration as well as Business Law and graduated with his Associates in Science in 1974. Bob spent his entire career working in the same filed until he retired.
Bob’s hobbies were fishing, boating, skiing, bowling and camping. He was involved in the Big Brothers Program as well as other community involvement.
He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his sister, Carolynne (Jim) Babb of Friendswood, Texas; niece, Deborah (Willie) Johnson of Flomaton, Alabama and nephew, Brian (Sonja) Johnson of Crestview, Florida.
