Robert Haft's Obituary
Robert Haft 89, of Eustis, passed away on December 16, 2011. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved here in 1982. He was a retired John Hancock Insurance Agent, he was Jewish and a member of the Traditional Congregation of Mount Dora. Mr. Haft was a Veteran having served in the U.S. Army Medical Corp during WWII; he was a member of the Eustis Moose Lodge and the American Legion. He had formerly been a member of the Beth Tefillah Messianic Fellowship. The family requests those desiring direct memorials to the Traditional Congregation of Mount Dora, 848 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora, FL 32757 or Cornerstone Hospice. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather he is survived by his wife Miriam, they were married for 65 years, his children Adrion Garrett “Butch” Haft of Cincinnati, Ohio and Alyce Shelton of Grand Island, Florida, brother Leo Haft of Randallstown, Maryland, sisters; Dorothy Perry of Randallstown, and Jeanette Bowman of Carney, Maryland, four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Memorial services were held at the Traditional Congregation of Mount Dora at 4 PM Monday, December 19th. Final services were arranged at Louis Suburban Chapel, Fair Lawn, New Jersey 201-791-0015.
