Robert E. Dunn's Obituary
My dad Robert Edward Dunn, or better known to most Bob "the builder" Dunn, was born on December 16th, 1954 in Boston Massachussetts. He passed on April 27th, 2023. He left behind four children, James Arthur Dunn, Daniel Alexander Dunn, Robert Andrew Dunn, and Jillian Amanda Pham. Grandchildren, Frankey Dunn, Cayden Dunn, Reagan Dunn, Phoebe Pham and Penelope Pham. As well as sister Deborah Dunn, brothers James Dunn and Christopher Dunn.
Bob had worked from a young age and could never fully retire despite saying he was going to. He didnt like to sit still and always had to be doing something. In the most present years that included spending time on his property and enjoying the sunrises and sets. He loved animals and always had a dog with him, from my earliest memories of Sheba, to his shadow, Pickett, to his little princess Pebbles who is still running around thinking she owns the place. He's had cattle and donkeys, a few bears and cyotes, much to his dislike.
He had a vast knowledge of how to fix almost anything and came to my rescue on many occasions. He was an old soul and hated asking others for anything. He prefered his solitude with a drink in his hand listening to the sound of the wind and the birds.
I will remember the good times, from him coaching baseball, giving me rides in the heavy machinary, letting me draw on his back with makeup and style his hair. I will pass down the barbies he bought me on our daddy daughter dates to his grandaughters and carry the memories always. I will also remember that despite everything if i needed help he was there.
We will miss him dearly but hope he has found peace and is no longer in pain. I love you daddy.
