Bob was one of the first neighbors we met when we moved here 3 years ago and we saw him frequently as he walked his beloved dog, Lucy. He always took time to chat with us, asking how we were and if we needed anything, giving us tips on gardening and where to find things since we were new to the area. We will miss our chats, his genuine smile, warmth and friendship. Our thoughts and prayers are with Deb and all of his family. He will be missed greatly, and we mourn his passing.

Bob,
I am not sure how to adequately say goodbye. I have known you for most of my life. You were were my stepdad for most of my adulthood. I certainly didn’t make it easy on you from the beginning. You never gave up however, and eventually we became friendly to one another.We played many rounds of golf, and you would occasionally let me win. You loved my mother and your Florida gators. You were a friend to animals and to strangers. You believed in, and loved the Lord and treated others accordingly. You paid for Ben and I to come visit and go to Disney world. A vacation I could have never paid for at that point in life. These are just some of the thoughts that come to my mind when I think of you. You gave me opportunities in life when not many would. You loved me when I found it hard to love myself. Most of all you treated me like a son when you didn’t have to. Thank you for the impact you made on my life. I love you Bob.

Bruce and I were so sorry to hear the sad news of Bob's passing. Bob was a true force of nature! We loved his big personality, his love for the Gators and his loyalty to his friends and loved ones. We knew Bob mostly from our college days when he was a Pi Kapp brother, as was Bruce, and I was a Pi Kapp little sister. He also was one of Bruce's roommates in La Mancha apartments. We have such fond memories of those days as well as staying in touch in the following years. These last years brought lots of changes in all our lives with job relocations and moving to different cities, so we haven't seen Bob for a while. However, our fondness for Bob will never wane and we wish him heavenly peace.

For my Uncle Bob, we love you and are mourning your loss. We miss you terribly.

My Uncle Bob was a strong man with a zest for live. He was genuinely kind and tender-hearted. He loved the Lord and his family deeply. I was truly blessed to have him as my uncle. My Uncle Bob and my Dad, Ron, were loving brothers. The love shared between them was immense and a true blessing to witness. I am grateful for the love my Uncle Bob showed my Dad. While my heart breaks for the loss of my Uncle Bob here on earth, I’m filled with joy knowing they are reunited in heaven.

My husband and I met Bob while walking our dogs by chance. Our dogs happened to "fall in love" and we were kind of forced become friends. But, as the quote says, our meeting was no accident. As we got to know Bob we realized that we were always meant to be friends. Our mutual love for the Gators sealed our friendship, and my favorite memories with him will always be attending Gator Homecoming games together.

Our deepest sympathy and prayers to Deb and the family. Bob will be dearly missed.
