Richard J. Snyder M.D.'s Obituary
Dr. Richard J. Snyder 81, of Mount Dora, passed away on June 8, 2013. He was born in Sidney, Ohio and moved to Mount Dora in 1995 from Muncie, Indiana. He was a retired OBGYN Physician; he was on staff at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana from 1971 until 1995. Richard was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army, was a graduate of the University Of Cincinnati Medical School, had formerly been a member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed playing golf at the Country Club of Mount Dora. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Dora. Richard is survived by his wife Helen, they were married for 59 years, also surviving are his children Pamela Snyder of New York City, David (Nancy) Snyder of Tampa and Gretchen Snyder of Indianapolis, Indiana and his granddaughters; Amanda Snyder of San Antonio, Texas and Emily Snyder of Dallas, Texas. The family requests memorials to Cornerstone Hospice. Funeral services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Friday, June 21st at 10 AM with Rev. Gary E. Upleger officiating, committal will follow in Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis
