I met Ollie back in the early 90's. Gee that sounds like something from the old west? Anyway, I was working at Disney MGM studios and doing Magic games on the side as a tape op.Ollie had come from the NY TV market via Philly and had done a lot of studio work up there. We talked about how it was different than sports and about the many nuances of the entertainment side of television production. He was very forth coming with lots of anecdotes and lots of just plain, good old war stories. I'll miss him. I had not seen him in several years but the Tampa crew has kept me informed over the years as well as the other senior cameraman, The Commadore, Al. I'll miss Ollie.
