James "Jim" L. Comstock, Minister's Obituary
James L. “Jim” Comstock, Minister of Eustis, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Jim was a member of the Lake Eustis Christian Church where he was Pastor from 1979~1982. He and his wife, Alice, then returned to Illinois where he served as Pastor of the Astoria Christian Church, Astoria, Illinois and the New Salem Christian Church of Adair, Illinois. They moved back to Florida in October 2013. Jim enjoyed growing roses. He was preceded in death in 2008 by his daughter, Roberta Sue Comstock. Jim is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife Alice. They would have been married 57 years in August. He is also remembered by his son, Guy Lowell Comstock of Bushnell, Florida; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Ray and Lois Jean Comstock of Eustis; brother, Charles Comstock of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren, Kayla Rae Comstock, Erik Joseph Comstock, Andrea Leigh Amole, Brittany Nicole Comstock, Shane Comstock and Nicole Richardson and her husband, Justin; as well as four great grandchildren, Emma, Madison, Bryce and Dallas.
Memorial services will be held in the Lake Eustis Christian Church at 11 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2016.
