When Ray moved from Michigan, he missed his sons who remained behind. When Jean and I moved from Wisconsin at that same time, we missed our parents. The moment we met Ray and his wife, there was an immediate bond and we had many, many happy moments together.Ray was a kind man. He was the president of our congregation for many years. He always led our group with gentleness and a big smile. He carried the Lord Jesus in his heart and he showed his Christian faith with his kind and loving actions. The entire Wiechmann family loved Ray Dittmar and we cherish his memory.##imported-begin##Rev. Dear Margaret, Bob, Rod and family,Know that our prayers, thoughts and love surround you all. We sincerely respected, honored and cherished Ray. We have many fond memories of all of you.We met Ray in 1966 and have appreciated his kindness, sincerity, sense of humor and Christian perspective. Our girls always referred to him as Grandpa Ray and RaeAnn is his name sake.At the funeral of our twins, Renee was a squirmy toddler. Ray walked to where I was sitting and extended his arms and Renee leaped into them. To me that always was a picture of someone comfortably going into the arms of our Lord and Savior. We share your loss but rejoice that Ray no longer must suffer and is in heaven.Prayers and love surround you alllove Jean & Dick Wiechmann##imported-begin##Jean Wiechmann##imported-end##
