Randal W. Adams' Obituary
Randy Adams, age 60, passed away December 5th, 2017 at The Hospice House in Tavares, Florida. Born in Columbus, Ohio January 22nd, 1957 he settled in Ohio for many years until 2001 when Randy and his wife moved to Florida settling in Leesburg, Florida.
Preceded by parents Marcella (Huff) and Ronald Adams, Randy is survived by loving wife, Kathi Kay (Meinen) Adams of 22 years. He is also survived by his beautiful daughter, Katie (Cody) Shafer; granddaughter, Chazzy Wolford; sisters, Sandy (John) Lalley, Kathy (Ralph) Smith, and Kim Adams; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Randy was a faithful tile and marble setter. Randy took such pride in the beautiful, professional outcome of his tile setting. Randy loved working with his hands and it seemed he could fix anything. Randy took pride in all his work. Randy belong to a conservation club and loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Randy enjoy taking walks on the beach with his wife and has a beautiful collection of shells. Randy was a very creative man and loved music, arts, woodworking.
The last year of his fight he found comfort through Adult Coloring and took such pride in his coloring and loved coloring for his friends and family. Randy was a loving, giving man. Randy loved his three girls and his dogs.
Randy was a son, brother, husband, father, a protector and friend but most importantly an inspiration to so many of us who remain here. Randy lived a full life but a short one. Just shy of 61 years old, he left the ones with memories that will last a lifetime. Randy always portrayed strength, but he also gave strength to others who watched him battle a fight throughout this last year. He showed us the will to survived and overcome tribulations of life, being humble and kind, and that your will comes from within.
Randy is lovingly remembered by all those who knew him as he touched their lives with his kindness, his forgiving spirit and love for all.
The Family will receive Family members and Friends to gather for a service January 20th, 2018 at 12 pm noon at Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Directors, 326 E Orange Avenue, Eustis, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sepsis Alliance @ Sepsis.org.
