Ralph B. Phillips' Obituary
Ralph B. Phillips of Grand Island, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of 89 years. He was born on Wednesday, March 9, 1932 in Oneonta, Alabama. Ralph proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 14 years, serving during the Korean War. Ralph went on to work as a Range Director for Martin Marietta. He retired 34 years ago. He resided in both Tennessee and Orlando and traveled back and forth for many years before permanently moving to Lake County in 2007 from Tennessee. Ralph was a member of the Elks Lodge # 1578 in Eustis and the AmVets. He enjoyed working on computers in his free time. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis on January 29, 2018 after 66 years of marriage. Ralph is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughters, Vickie Gonsoulin of Moultrie, Georgia and Wanda Kukarola of Sebring, Florida; and sisters and brothers in law, Paulette and Joe Bob Davis and Yvonne and Wyman Willoughby, all of Crossville, Alabama. Ralph will be laid to rest next to his wife at Highland Memory Gardens in Apopka. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
