Oh my gosh. I am so sorry to learn that my beautiful friend has passed. She and Bill are truly the kindest people I have ever been gifted with knowing. They were both involved in me becoming baptized and each month stopped by my office to check on me. Phyllis lit up the room the minute she walked in. I pray we see each other again in our next life. I am such a better person because of this amazing couple.
Phyllis was always an amazing woman: mind like a steel trap, gracious and warm to anyone and everyone, and the heartiest, most contagious laugh you could hope to hear. She and Bill have been a part of my life since I was a child - at least 60 years or more. She will always be loved and remembered by me and all my family.
I was blessed to know Phyllis and husband Bill for nearly 40 years. I worked as a mechanic for several years in the early '80's. Even my first day at work she wanted to send me home immediately. Why? Because it happened to be my birthday and she felt that day is special and one should not have to work on their birthday! Phyllis was a special lady. Phyllis was a wonderful part of our family. She was an incredibly intelligent lady with an intoxicating laugh and a heart of gold. Praising the Lord that she is dancing in heaven with Jesus but our hearts are broken here.
