I met Mr. DeVita when working at Rasquales Restaurant in Apopka many, many years ago and graduated with his son Philip. He always brought a group in with him and was always very pleasant and happy. I always enjoyed waiting on him. My prayers for his family in the loss of their sweet dad.
Phil was such a cordial gentleman in teaching and I enjoyed my lessons at Coral Hills. Learned so much in those hunter days. He always said to tighten my girdle and have FUN at the in-gate. No pressure. What a pleasant way to experience riding and showing (and life). He is remembered. Prayers to the Family.
I never met the man but Don talked about him so much I feel I know him, prayers to the family and friends of this man. Say Hey to Don and give him a hugh hug from me. Love to the family too.
Such a wonderful legacy you have left us PHIL. Your smile , your laugh, your famous spaghetti sauce, and the best known cluck for a horse. Ioved the time I spent riding for CORAL HILLS and all the learning I did. The crazy trail rides with our boarders always had those moments. The Lord must have needed some good horses up there so GOD SPEED my friend.
