Peggy Marie Lanizzani's Obituary
Peggy Marie Lanizzani 75, of Umatilla, passed away in the Florida Keys on October 22, 2013.
The daughter of Howard B. and Nellie J. Mauch, Peggy was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania and moved to this area in 1981 from Randolph, New Jersey. Peggy was raised in Rock Island, Illinois, graduated from Alleman High School and earned a B.A. degree from Mundelein College in Chicago and taught elementary school. Peggy was a member of the Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 8087 of Eustis, the Moose Auxiliary, Eustis Lodge 1578 B.P.O.E. and the Golden Triangle Women’s Bowling Association. She was predeceased by her husband Charlie in 2012. Peggy is survived by her sisters; Nellie Brennan and Delores Kiss both of Riverside, Illinois, Joan Mauch of Davenport, Iowa, Nancy Bowker of Rock Island, Illinois and Lucille Hayne of Montgomery, Illinois, eleven nieces and nephews, several grand nieces and nephews, and her late husband’s stepchildren; Karen Goodrich, of Lutz, Florida, Jane Brown of Sarasota, Florida and Jack Mocko of Stafford, Connecticut. Funeral services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Monday, October 28th at 2 PM, the family will receive friends from 11 AM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.
