Patrick Anthony Aurigemma's Obituary
Patrick Anthony Aurigemma, 93 of Mount Dora, FL passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 with his loving wife by his side.
Patrick was born on January 05, 1928 in Queens, NY to the late Carmine and Anna Aurigemma. He proudly served his country in 1946 as an Army/ Air Corp airplane mechanic in WWII. After serving our grateful nation, Patrick began his career as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service where he later retired after 31 years. On July 29, 1950 Patrick Married the love of his life, Marie H. Layton. Together, they lived in New York until retiring to Central Florida in 1984.
He is predeceased by his sister: Teresa Aurigemma Barilli.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years: Marie H. Aurigemma; Son: Carmine (Lorraine) Aurigemma; Daughter: Anna Tracy; Six grandchildren: Daniel Aurigemma, Lauren Aurigemma, Brian (Candace) Aurigemma, David Moran, Patrick (Katie) Moran, and Brandon (Jeannie) Moran; And three great-grandchildren.
Patrick loved God and his family. He loved racehorses, working in the yard, tinkering around the house and helping others.
Patrick was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by many.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on the tribute wall.
