Noah "Pee Wee" W. Green's Obituary
Noah W. “Pee Wee” Green of Eustis, Florida passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at the age of 89 years. He was born in Lake City, Florida. Noah proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Pee Wee was a professional guitarist. He played with the Whoot Owls and had their own 2-hour radio show on WHOO in Orlando. The band eventually became the Five Owls and throughout the 1960’s played at the Rainbow Ranch in Longwood. Most recently Pee Wee played at Country Club Manor, where he lived and Hazelton Village housing communities.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Mary Lillian Green. She passed on January 17, 2001. Pee Wee is remembered and will be dearly missed by his daughter, Rhonda (William) Doerr of Eustis; sons, Michael D. Green of Eustis, Gary Batten of Eustis, Jeffery (Laura) Green of Apopka, Florida and Chris (Kelly) Green of Wisconsin; brother, Mallory (Dorothy) Green of Tallahassee, Florida; grandchildren, Austin (Stephanie) green of Apopka and Shelby (Chad) Parker of Clermont, Florida; and great-grandchildren, Aryia, Cooper and Charlotte.
A graveside ceremony will be held in the near future at Live oak City Cemetery, Live Oak, FL. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
