Nila L. Carrera's Obituary
Nila L. Carrera of Eustis passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the age of 72 years. She was born in Ecuador and moved to this area from Chicago in 2001. Nila was the owner of Nila’s Professional Alteration Shop in downtown Eustis for 18 years and was well known in the Eustis business community. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her husband of 55 years, Gustavo; children, Nila Mendoza (Issac) of Eustis, Lucy Caison (Orlando) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nixon Carrera (Michelle) of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Liz Cox (Ernest) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Ximena Carrion (Francisco Gonzalez) of Arlington, Virginia; brothers, Marino Garzon and Jaime Garzon; sister, Rosalia Garzon; grandchildren, Michael, Azariah, Justin, Ariel, Joanna, Joshua, Audrey, Giovanni, Brandon, Victoria, David, Diego and Nicole; and great grandson, Vincent.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Thursday, February 21 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
Nila L. Carrera de Eustis falleció el lunes 18 de febrero de 2019 a la edad de 72 años. Nació en Ecuador y se mudó a esta área desde Chicago en 2001. Nila fue la propietaria de la Tienda de Alteración Profesional de Nila en el centro de Eustis durante 18 años y era muy conocida en la comunidad empresarial de Eustis. Ella es recordada y será muy extrañada por su esposo durante 55 años, Gustavo; niños, Nila Mendoza (Issac) de Eustis, Lucy Caison (Orlando) de Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Nixon Carrera (Michelle) de Spartanburg, Carolina del Sur, Liz Cox (Ernest) de Knoxville, Tennessee y Ximena Carrion (Francisco Gonzalez) de Arlington, Virginia; hermanos, Marino Garzón y Jaime Garzón; hermana, Rosalia Garzon; nietos, Michael, Azariah, Justin, Ariel, Joanna, Joshua, Audrey, Giovanni, Brandon, Victoria, David, Diego y Nicole; y bisnieto, Vincent.
