To: Dr. W.C. Favis & Staff - Stacy & Erica. You are Family! Thank you for all the Excellent Care and Concern you have given to Neil & Myself for the past sixteen years. These past 3 years have been difficult for Neil, and we appreciate your Loving Care as he reached every new health issue. We Love You Dearly. Barbara
Our family wishes to express our deepest appreciation to Gloria Wright of the St. Mary of the Lakes Bereavement Ministry.
We contacted Gloria and asked if she would come visit with our father who was gravely ill. Gloria arrived at our home within hours and spent time lovingly ministering to our family. She served Holy Communion to our Dad and wrapped God’s loving arms around us enfolding our family in His tender touch. She was an angel of the Lord that day.
Gloria lovingly explained the bereavement services offered by St. Mary’s and helped our father plan his Mass of the Resurrection. Two days later our father joined the Kingdom of God.
Gloria helped us implement Dad’s wishes, select readings, work out the logistics around Holy Week and plan a grace-filled Mass of the Resurrection where we experienced God’s sustaining power.
Please know we were comforted by Gloria’s presence and Christian love. May God in Christ Jesus continue to be with Gloria Wright and the members of St. Mary of the Lakes.
In Christ's love,
The family of Joseph Neil Smith

Thoughts and prayers to your wonderful family. Mr. Smith was always so kind and caring. Hugs to each one of you.
Aunt Barb, Gary, Michelle, Sharon and Angela - I am sorry to hear of your loss. I always admired Uncle Neil. Even though we weren't close after he moved away from Cleveland, I have many fond memories of him, especially at Thanksgiving at Grandma Smith's house. Know that my thoughts are with you, David (Panich)
We are sharing your grief today as we remember Neil as being so proud of his beautiful daughter, Sharon on her wedding day. As she and Brad began their marriage, we always felt the closeness of this family. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, David and Carolyn DeVaney
