Nannie Lee Ormesher's Obituary
Nannie Lee Ormesher of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 96 years. She was born in Pineville, West Virginia. Nannie moved to Mount Dora in 1961 from Lafayette, Ohio. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Nannie had a green thumb and loved gardening. She especially loved flowers. Nannie was a homemaker. She taught herself to cook. She also enjoyed canning.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric on April 18, 1990 after 48 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her son Roger Ormesher. He passed away on June 29, 1974. Nannie is remembered and will be dearly missed by her daughters, Deanna Arceneaux of DeBary, FL, Judith Macho of Tavares, FL, Barbara Hauser of Zellwood, FL and Jo Lynn Hartman of Grand Island, FL; son, Leif Ormesher (Tara) of Steamboat Springs, CO; grandchildren, Anthony Zabukovec (Debbie) of Milton, FL, Michelle Murphy (Brian) of DeBary, FL, Robert Wiggins (Rebecca) of Tavares, FL, Roger Wiggins (Jackie) of Georgia, David Zabukovec (Sarah) of Longwood, FL, Phillip Zabukovec (Tabitha) of Clermont, FL, Katherine Weaver (Robert) of Fruitland Park, FL, Chris Hauser of Chickamauga, GA, Angela Hauser (Gina) of Brewer, ME, Eric Zabukovec of Naples, FL, Arnold Wiggins (Cheryl) of Wisconsin, Christian Maas of Wildwood, FL, Caitlin Ormesher of Steamboat Springs, CO, Errol Ormesher of Colorado, Larissa Griffin of Eustis, FL, Zachery Maas of Grand Island, FL, Mallory Ormesher of Steamboat Springs, CO, Ashton Hartman of Grand Island, FL, Charlie Ormesher of Steamboat Springs, CO and Emlee Reiter of Steamboat Springs, CO; 23 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Friday, April 6 from 5:00-7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens.
