Nancy Carol Cox, 86, of Eustis, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025. Born in Huntington, West Virginia, on September 2, 1939, Nancy lived a life full of love, family, and cherished traditions. In 1991, she made Florida her home, where she continued to create lasting memories with those she loved.
Nancy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was her family. She was known for her warm heart and her talent in the kitchen, especially her famous family recipe for red velvet cake. She enjoyed spending time solving crosswords, reading, and embracing adventure—whether through the pages of a book or riding motorcycles. Her life reflected a beautiful balance of family devotion and spirited independence.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Raymond Cox, and her son, Brian Scott Cox. Nancy is survived by her children: Susan (Gary) Davis of Eustis, Brian Cox of Orlando, and Shari Cox of Eustis; her grandchildren: Stacie (Robert) High, Megan (Christopher Mashburn) Davis, Josh Brooks, and Erin Cox; and her great-grandchildren: Ellie Boheme, Bailey Boheme, Tucker Pippin, Sawyer Pippin, and Karter High.
Nancy’s legacy of love, laughter, and family traditions will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
