Nancy Ellen Bishop's Obituary
Nancy Ellen Bishop, age 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Born in Wisconsin, Nancy's early years were spent working for the telephone company, connecting people across lines. She moved to Florida, where she retired from Walmart at the age of 65.
In 2001, Nan relocated to Sunlake Estates from Bradenton, Florida, where she found not only a community but also love.
She met Robert Olofson, and their hearts intertwined in a beautiful journey that spanned 29 cherished years. Together, they embraced a life of adventure, visiting 49 states in their motorhome, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
Nancy's hands were always busy with threads of love, being an active member of the Quilting Club at Sunlake Estates. Her passion for crafting and creating beautiful quilts brought warmth to many.
Nancy is survived by her devoted companion, Robert Olofson; her son Michael (Leslie) D’Acquisto of Wisconsin; her daughter, Jennifer Groff of Florida; her sister, Ruth of Wisconsin; and one grandchild, Damien.
Nancy's legacy of love, travel, and artistry will forever be remembered by her family and friends.
