Myrtis Faye Haines' Obituary
Myrtis Faye Haines of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the age of 65 years. She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina to the late Sam Johnson and Myrtis Alice Bailey. Myrtis moved to Florida from South Carolina in 1967. Myrtis was retired and was very involved in her church, the Impacting Word Family Worship Center in Mount Dora. She is remembered and will be dearly missed by her sons, Richard A. Haines, Jr. of Cleveland, Tennessee and Bobby Haines and his wife, Angie of Chattanooga, Tennessee; daughter, June Haines Taylor and her husband, Edwin of Davenport, Florida; brother, Sam Thomas Bailey and his wife, Glenda of Gainesville, Florida; sister, Terri Van Tassell and her husband, Bill of Mount Dora and grandchildren, Destiny, Haven, Skylar, Christopher, Latesha, Candace, Daniel, Edwin and Lashaunda. Friends are invited to gather for viewing on Sunday, April 21 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel. A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday at 10:30 am at the Impacting Word Family Worship Center, Mount Dora. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memory Gardens, in Eustis. Arrangements are entrusted to Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Directors, Eustis, FL. Condolences, memories, photos and videos may be shared on the tribute wall.
