Dear FamilyI met your wife/mom when our oldest children were just babies. We would gather together for playdates at various parks. I always referred to your wife/mom as "Martha Stewart" because she never just brought a little treat to share - it was always a treat for the tummy and the eyes. She obviously had a gift for making something simple into something spectacular.I rejoice in that your wife/mom will spend 2010 and all of eternity in the arms of her Savior. I, too, am shocked and saddened by the news of Melanie's passing. Although I had not spoken with her in some years, I remember her warm smile and happy personality.
