I had no idea that Buck passed away. I had known him since junior high school; we were neighbors in Eustis, FL, for several years. In fact, the young Buck had as a pet his owl Yehooti, and I can still see both of them on the back porch, Buck the good student studying at a desk there while Yehooti was somewhere nearby. Buck was a military hero in Vietnam; I even mentioned that briefly in one of the books I wrote and published for a client. Now that I'm back in Florida, however briefly, I had been thinking about Buck, and now I have run across his obituary. Rest in peace, my friend
