Mary Elizabeth "Mary Lib" Eichelberger's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth “Mary Lib” Eichelberger 93, of Eustis, passed away on November 5, 2012. She was born in Ohio and was a longtime resident of the Eustis, Mount Dora area. She was a homemaker and was very active in the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. She was an Elder, a member of Presbyterian Women, church circles and served on many committees. Mrs. Eichelberger was responsible for restoring and furnishing the Church Parlor, and maintaining the Parlor as a place of worship, quiet reflection and Church History over the years. Small weddings, baptisms and other occasions are held here as well. Her loving and caring spirit was shown in many ways; in the flowers and food she took to those in need and through her support and encouragement to all she came in contact with. Mary Lib was a member of P.E.O. Chapter C of Eustis and the Poinsettia Garden Club of Mount Dora. She was an accredited Flower Show Judge and a member of the District Judges Council.She is survived by her son Jay Eichelberger of Orlando, daughter-in-law Rebecca Eichelberger of Eustis, grandson Bryan and great grandson Preston. Mary Lib was predeceased by her husband Robert J. in 1991 and her son William Robert in 2006.The family received friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Wednesday from 3 until 5 PM, funeral services were held in the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis at 11:30 AM on Thursday with interment following in Greenwood Cemetery, Eustis.The family requests those desiring direct memorials to The First Presbyterian Church, 117 S.
