Mary Ann Green's Obituary
Mary Ann Rice Kennedy Green 64, of Eustis, died on June 3, 2014. She was born Feb. 5, 1950, in Eustis to Howard James Rice and Ruth Eskey Orum Rice. She is survived by her husband, Gregory Green, her sister Jane Leigh Lassiter, also of Eustis; step children, Jeffrey Green of Atlanta and Natasha Green Savage, two grandchildren, Griffin and Margaret Claire of Wilmington, NC. She also leaves many dear friends. Mary Ann was a 1968 graduate of Eustis High School and a 1972 graduate of the University of Florida. She was employed by National Airlines and Pan American World Airways as a Flight Attendant for 18 years. After retiring from the airlines she taught school in the Orange and Lake County school systems. She loved both careers and was much loved by fellow workers and students. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis. Mary Ann had a wonderful sense of humor, loved traveling, golfing and spending time with family and friends. She was a whiz at puzzles and word games. Mary Ann was a rabid Gator fan and truly bled Orange and Blue. She will be missed by all who knew her. A Gathering to remember Mary Ann will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Saturday, June 7th from 10 AM until Noon. Memorials may be directed to the Humane Society of Lake County, P.O.
