Marva L. Griffith's Obituary
Marva L. Griffith 78, of Grand Island, passed away on February 16, 2014. She moved here in 2002 from West Hampton, New York and was Lutheran. She was the former owner and operator of the Rivera Beauty Salon of Riverhead, New York; she was active in Sun Lake Activities and a member of the Red Hats. Marva was predeceased by her husband Don in 2002; they were married for 47 years. Surviving are her children Dennis (Kathy) Griffith of St. Could, Florida and Mark (Roseann) Griffith of Hampton Bays, New York, grandchildren; Justin Griffith, Ryan Griffith, Jeremy Griffith and Galen Griffith, and her great granddaughter Kaylan Griffith. She was predeceased by her daughter Donna L. Griffith in 1996. The family will receive friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Wednesday from 3 until 5 PM, funeral services will be in the chapel at 11 AM on Thursday. Marva will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery
