Mark Larcher's Obituary
Earnest Mark Aaron Larcher of Tavares, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the age of 28 years. He was born in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Naples, Florida at the age of 5 years. Mark relocated to the Eustis and Tavares area in 2012. Mark was a graduate of Naples High School. He loved sailing and qualified for the Junior Olympics. He attended Vo Tech in Naples and studied Culinary Arts and eventually went to work in restaurants to pursue his passion of cooking. Mark was also great with plants and gardening. He loved music and played the saxophone. He was also into sports and enjoyed a good game of Golf and also played tennis. Mark loved college football and was a huge Ohio Buckeye fan. He was preceded in death by his Mom, Cathy Gaines in June of 2015 and his brother, Jonny Larcher in June of 2011. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Earnest “Smokey” Smith, Martin Chapman, Walter and Marjorie Franc; and a niece, Madison Larcher. Mark is remembered and will be dearly missed by his Dad, John A. Larcher of Tavares; grandmothers, Ruth Chapman of Columbus, Ohio and Karel Smith, also of Columbus; sister, Christine Larcher of Eustis, Florida; nieces, Trinity and Corey Prescott and nephews, Logan Lovejoy and Devon Larcher.
Family and friends are invited to gather for viewing on Thursday, December 28th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. A funeral ceremony will be held on Friday, December 29th at 10:00 am, also in the funeral home chapel.
