Marie Long's Obituary
Marie Long 84, of Eustis, passed away on April 23, 2014. She was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio and moved here in 1969 from Findlay. She was well known in the Eustis area, she and her late husband George established Linda Lee Pastries on Bay Street in Eustis in 1969, she also managed the “How Sweet It Is” Yogurt Store in Eustis and worked at Wal-Mart. While in Findlay, Ohio she and her husband owned and operated George’s Bakery. She was an ardent community volunteer, working on the welcome committee for Eustis Villas, and with the Hearts and Hands Food Ministry, Marie was a friend to all who knew her. She was predeceased by her husband George in 2002; they had been married for 54 years. Also surviving are her daughter, Linda (Michael Sieg) Williams of The Villages, granddaughter; Amanda Powell of Grand Island, grandson Matthew (Benita) Long of Longwood, Florida, great grandchildren; Mason Long, Ava Long and Bryant Powell and her sister; Catherine Hutton of Fostoria, Ohio. Graveside services will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Findley, Ohio on Tuesday, June 10th at 11 AM.
