Living in Maryland until moving to Eustis, Florida in 1980, Marie was a homemaker the majority of her life.
Marie was blessed to have lived in her own home for 98 years, then making the best of assisted living until her death. Marie enjoyed gardening, golf, dances, her pet cats and most of all her family and friends and strong faith in God. With a quick wit of humor, she made all conversations fun and interesting. Always at the ready for traveling and many day trips to explore new places with Mardi Hartge and carried on with Edna-Wynne Raley after Mardi’s death. Her last fun trip was the fall of 2019 to drive on the beaches of Daytona and watch birds, dolphins and people with her saying: “if this were my last trip, it’s the best one!”
