Marguriete W. Belyeu's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marguriete W. Belyeu, affectionately known as Maggie, on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Panama City, Florida, Maggie lived a life infused with warmth, steadfast faith, and a commitment to service that touched countless lives.
Maggie’s journey was defined by her dedication both in her community and her career. After spending many fulfilling years in her hometown, where she was an active and devoted member of the Panama City Seventh Day Adventist Church—and selflessly volunteered at the church and the Christian School—she embraced a new chapter in September 2024. Along with her husband Myron H. Belyeu of whom she was married for 57 beautiful years, she moved to Tavares, Florida, to be closer to their son. In her new home, she became a cherished member of the Mount Dora Seventh Day Adventist Church, continuing her lifelong devotion to her faith and community.
Prior to her extensive service in the church, Maggie briefly inspired young minds as a high school teacher. Soon after, she embarked on a distinguished career as an Administrative Assistant with the Council of Vocational Education for the State of Florida in Tallahassee—a role she held for over 30 years, leaving a lasting impact on those she worked with and the educational community at large.
Maggie is lovingly survived by her husband, Myron H. Belyeu; her son Jason and daughter-in-law Angela Belyeu of Grand Island, Florida; and her granddaughter, Camile. Her legacy of kindness, dedication, and steadfast commitment to family and faith will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
All services will be held in Panama City, Florida, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, where family and friends will come together to honor and celebrate a life well-lived.
Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
