Margaret P. Tisdale's Obituary
Margaret P Tisdale of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Wednesday March 22, 2023, at the age of 94. Margaret was born to Mason and Alice Peebles in Sumter, South Carolina on September 9, 1928. She moved to the Leesburg area from Jacksonville, Florida in 1977. She was a Navy wife and lived in many places, including Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Margaret moved to the Leesburg area from Jacksonville, Florida in 1977. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tavares, Florida. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women. Margaret worked for Sundor Brands in Mount Dora as an Administrative Assistant.
Margaret was the matriarch of the family. She welcomed everyone into her life with open arms, and was a second mom to many she held dear.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, and her husband Charles R. Tisdale of 59 years.
Margaret is survived by her children Charles Wayne (Linda) Tisdale, Warren Lafayette (Susan) Tisdale, Annette Tisdale; grandchildren Margaret, Adeline, Deborah, and Emma; and great granddaughter Burke.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel starting at 3 PM.
