Margaret Sheffield Smith's Obituary
Margaret Sheffield Smith 86, of Eustis, passed away on May 5, 2012. She was born in Valdosta, Georgia and moved to Eustis from Apopka in 2007. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Eustis. She was an excellent Sales Associate having worked for Sears and J.C. Penney for most of her career. In later years Margaret was an Administrative Assistant for Green Thumb Nursery in Apopka and Ralston Purina Company in Zellwood. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and fishing. She is survived by her sons: Jerry E. (Sue) Smith of Eustis and Chris L. (Patricia) Smith, Sr. of Orlando, her grandchildren, Candace L. Smith, Jerry E. Smith II, Chris L. Smith, Jr., Jonathan (Jessica) Smith and Michele (Kevin) Stella, four great-grandchildren , Benjamin Smith, Tristan Stalnaker, Enoch Smith and Elena-Marguerite Smith, her sisters Mary Catherine Davidson of Parker, Colorado, Dorothy Belle Skiles of Orange, Texas and Nancy (Bill) Parker of Valdosta, Georgia and their families, brothers Charles (Jean) Sheffield, Jerry (Betty) Sheffield and Larry (Paula) Sheffield and their families all from Valdosta, Georgia. She was predeceased by brothers Burton and Billy Sheffield. The family received friends in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Thursday, May 10th from 6 until 8PM. A celebration of Margaret’s life was held in the Chapel on Friday, May 11th at 11:00am where everyone was invited to share special memories of Margaret during the service with interment following at Lakeside Memory Gardens, Eustis.
