I love and miss you everyday... sometimes I just wish I could see you again and talk to you and hold your hand.. I miss my favorite teacher, you always said how much you always wanted a daughter and just wished you could adopt me lol, but that’s ok I call you mama for a reason. Sometimes I talk to you or really the sky because I know that’s where you are.. one day we’ll meet again. I just wish I could find you wherever you are in the world and just read to you and tell you everything.. I was coming back to Florida just for you to tell you how Georgia was but I was a few days late, it broke my heart but years later I’m doing ok, I graduated and I’m trying to be the best I could be.. imma miss you mama but until next time❤️

Mike and Jason I am so sorry and shocked to learn of Maggie’s passing just today. You won’t remember me but I stayed with your family as part of the English Wilberforce College exchange in the 1990s with the high school Maggie taught at and I have treasured for over 25 years the happy memories of the warm welcome you all gave me. I saw in the school how loved Maggie was, such an inspirational teacher. She was so much fun. I remember how she adored you both, made you chillislaw dogs your favourite! and she was so proud of you Jason and your baseball! We lost touch but thinking of her always cheered me up. I hope you have both found comfort in the many loving words here from so many people whose lives she touched.
