Margaret Cecelia Winks' Obituary
Margaret Cecelia Winks 103, of Tavares, passed away on February 23, 2012. She was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Tavares from Dunnellon, Florida in 2006. She was Catholic. She spent her childhood in Elmhurst, Illinois and graduated from Rosary High School. She spent most of her adult life in Wayland, Michigan, where her husband, Clyde Dickinson, practiced medicine and their children grew up. After his death and her remarriage several years later to Lewis Winks she continued to live in Wayland, finally moving to Florida in 1980.Mrs. Winks is survived by two sons; John (Barbara) Dickinson of Eugene, Oregon and Edward Dickinson of Lady Lake, Florida, daughter Emily D. (Herbert) Roberts of Tavares, seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Clyde Dickinson in 1969, her second husband Lewis Winks in 1999 and her son Dennis James Dickinson in 1975. The family requests those desiring direct memorials to Cornerstone Hospice of Tavares, Florida. The final resting place will be Elmwood Cemetery in Wayland Township, Michigan.
