Lydia Santos' Obituary
Lydia Santos of Orange City, Florida passed away on Tuesday October 18, 2022, at the age of 67. She was born on February 12, 1955, to her parents Hipolito and Flora Oliva in Cuba. Lydia moved to Florida at the age of 18 and has been here ever since. She was known for being a true animal lover. From a young age she owned every type of animal imaginable and was even known for keeping that up throughout the rest of her life. She was a dispatcher for the Miami bus system, where she then retired to be a hostess for her daughter Angela's restaurant Debary Diner in Debary, Florida. She was married to Evaristo “Tito” Santos for 30 years, and they were childhood sweethearts.
Lydia is survived by her daughters Angela (Rick) Ugarte of Deland, Florida, Anita Marrero of Miami, Florida; son Samuel Santos of Orange City, Florida; grandchildren Anthony, Kristen, Kimberly, Kaitlyn, and Ciara; and great grandchildren Theo, Arlo, and Luca.

A visitation will be held on Sunday October 23, 2022, from 5pm-7pm at Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel in Eustis, Florida. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at 10am at the Flagler Memorial Park Cemetery in Miami, Florida.
