Luther "Johnny" Russell's Obituary
Luther “Johnny” Russell of Eustis, Florida passed away on Tuesday December 20, 2022, at the age of 76. He was born in Cottontown, Tennessee on June 5, 1946, to his parents Garfield and Cynthia Russell. Johnny moved to Eustis, Florida in 1987. He was a fan of Nascar and country music. He also loved watching old western movies. Johnny was a champion dart player that traveled to different states to compete. He was also a member of the Moose Club and frequently helped at the VFW. Johnny owned his own business in Eustis called Drains & Things for 30 years.
Johnny is survived by his partner Flo Russell; son Ralph “Buddy” Jones (Naomi) of Calera, Alabama; daughters Brenda Wettstein of Belleview, Florida, Deborah Wettstein of Ocala, Florida, Norma McGiboney of Birmingham, Alabama, Rhonda Obregon Bessemer, Alabama, Sheryl (Richard) Early of Hoover, Alabama; brothers David Russell or Sarasota, Florida, Larry Russell of Port Charlotte, Florida, Robert Russell of Ocklawaha, Florida; along with 18 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, and many great- great grandchildren.
