Lowell Mead Willhite's Obituary
Lowell Mead Willhite Jr. 80, of Eustis, passed away on October 13, 2012. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan and moved here from Keego Harbor, Michigan in 2007. He was retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. Mr. Willhite also worked as a golf course maintenance supervisor and a supervisor in the steel industry, he was a member of the V.F.W., Moose Lodge and Eagles. He was predeceased by his wife, Verlene, in 2007. He is survived by his daughters Cathy (Michael) Hirschberger of Eustis and Laurie Juel. Also surviving are his grandson Lowell Mead Willhite IV of Salinas, Puerto Rico, step grandchildren Donald Juel and Katie Dudley and his brother John Willhite of Clarkston, Michigan.Services were held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell onThursday November 1st at 2:30 PM with the Lake County Honor Guard officiating.
