Lorena W. Verney's Obituary
Lorena W. Verney 99, currently of Tavares, formerly of Eustis, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina and moved here from Buffalo, New York in 1977. She was a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church of Eustis, a former member of the Troy (New York) Wives Club and the Eustis Women's Club, where she served as Vice President for seven years and as the publicity chairperson. She worked as a manager at Lane Bryant in Buffalo, New York. She is survived by her children; LaVerne Schuette of Wentzville, Missouri, Lindsey J. (Kathleen) Richardson of Buffalo, New York, Linda (Donald) Boswell of Granite City, Illinois and Judith (Donald) Harrison of Ft. Pierce, Florida, her brother Marvin L. Kirkland of Stark, Mississippi, sister; Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Newell of Bremen, Georgia, 25 grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren. Lorena was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. Adolph (Al) Verney and son, Donald F. Richardson in 1964. Memorial Services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Tuesday, May 9th at 11 AM with Elder Lindsey J. Richardson officiating.
