I am watching the U.S. tennis open in memory of ...WHO ELSE BUT MY SISTER AND FRIEND LOIS. How could I not remember many a conversation we shared over a tennis match particularly the U.S. Open. OH, what a coincidence the U.S. Open is happening as I write this memory. Hey Lois I'll keep you in the loop!
Lois was always wanting a good laugh but her bladder felt otherwise. It's an inside thing@!! She was loved by all who knew her and could hang in there with her limited but loving patience. Her family misses her but are not without a boatload of memories!!
As most people who really knew Lois, they would know she didn't always play by the so called rules, therefore as the last of four siblings her untimely death is out of order. She will be remembered for many gestures of the heart... and her strong love and affection for her children and even more so her grandchildren, Nikolas, Emma, Christian and last but Never/to be least Logan. We will forever be hugging you Lois.
I have been trying to find the right words to say to you mom. It’s been 2wks already without. We used talk almost everyday sometimes it would be nothing or just to check in and make sure you were ok. I am glad I was able to make the trip down in May for Mother’s Day to see you. Usually you would come up to NY to visit. This year you weren’t feeling good so you canceled your trip 4xs times at Christmas. Then we said maybe in April but again you weren’t feeling good. That is why I came down to see you. It was over a year since me and the kids last saw you. Who am I going to call when I have questions, having a bad day or stressed out. It just doesn’t seem real that you're not here anymore. I keep praying that when I hear the phone ring it’s going to be your voice on the other end. This year has not been great for you. When we last spoke you were trying to get settled into the new place. Never did I think that would be the last time I talked to you. There were times we would argue and didn’t talk for a few days but we always made up or brush it off. In some ways we are a lot alike and that is why we would butt heads. I hope you're at peace now mom and your not in pain anymore. I hope pray that Butch and you are together again. Rest In Peace mom. I will always love you! Had many great times with your mom . At work , bowling, going to ball games , and just sitting around and simply talking. She was a great friend. I know mom loved you both and only wished well for the both of you and your families. I hope she is at peace now with Butch. My prayers to the family.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin and your mother. It is with deepest sadness hearing this. We were very close as children and shared many wonderful memories of holidays, going to each other’s homes, barbecues at parks with playing games and softball by our adult Uncles and good food from our Aunts. As we got to be adults it was wonderful to share new memories. Shelly and I were lucky to see and stay with her at the Villages, in Florida! The wonderful memories will take you through this difficult time. I have memories that are overflowing. If there is anything I can do to help please let me know.
I have known Lois for a lot of years here in The Villages. We enjoyed playing pinochle with our friends and she belonged to a special group called “The Classy Ladies”. We met Lois for the first time in July 2018. Long lost cousins who met through Ancestry Rosenberg side (Kramer). Nice lady as were all the siblings. We were hoping to get together again one day, Our sincere condolences. 💕
