Learlene B. Heischman's Obituary
Learlene Batte Heischman 89, of Umatilla, passed away on September 9, 2013. She was born in Fouke, Arkansas and moved here in 1986 from Orlando. She was a Baptist and a homemaker; she had worked at Martin Marietta and the Orlando Naval Training Devise Center. Learlene was a former owner of John Heischman Company an electrical engineering company that built simulation training devices and telephone training simulators. She had been active in the auxiliary of the Am Vets post of Mount Dora. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2012; they had been married 39 years. Survivors include her son Tony (Brenda) Sanders of New Smyrna Beach, grandchildren, Christopher Sanders of Richmond, Virginia and Kathleen Vincent of Orlando, great grandchildren; Joseph Hornbostle, Tyler Vincent and Christina Vincent all of Orlando, brothers; Clifford Earl (Nelda) Batte of Eldorado, Arkansas, Preston (Bonnie) Batte of Shreveport, Louisiana, Cleve (Nelda) Batte of Fouke, Arkansas, sisters; Jeanie Eaton and Dianne Pilgreen both of Fouke, Arkansas. Memorial services will be held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel at 11 AM on Saturday, September 21st with Rev. William Boyer officiating. The final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery
