Ladislao Cruz, 95, of Grand Island, Florida, passed away, August 21, 2020. He and his wife (Efigenia), came to the United States from Puerto Rico in 1957 and lived in Aurora, Illinois where they raised 5 children: Iris Davis(Tim) Leesburg,FL, Maria Larabee(John), Grand Island,FL, Ladislao Cruz, Jr (Alice), Ottawa, Il., Eva Cruz, Aurora, IL (deceased), Lidia Cruz of Mt. Dora, FL. They retired to Florida in 1994 due to health issues. “Lalo” was one of 10 children. His wife, Efigenia Cruz, loving wife for 72 years, was deceased in 2016. He leaves behind 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He also has many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. He was greatly loved and will be terribly missed!

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at 11:00AM at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, FL.
Interment will follow Mass at Lakeside Memory Gardens Cemetery, Eustis, FL
Services have been entrusted to Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Directors
