Kenneth Edward Switzer's Obituary
Kenneth Edward Switzer of Eustis, Florida passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 75 years. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. He moved to Miami with his family while he was still in high school. Kenny proudly served his country in the US Army. He served as a helicopter Crew Chief and a door gunner in Vietnam. He moved to Lake County in 2005. Kenny was a member of the North Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Leesburg. In his free time, he loved working on and restoring old cars. He enjoyed the outdoors and liked to go hiking. More than anything, he was a family man and always looked forward to spending time with his wife and children and especially his grandson, Cody. Kenny was a crane operator and retired from Ed’s Crane Services in Eustis. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 34 years, Sandi; sons, Steven Switzer of St. Augustine, Florida and Daniel Kenneth Switzer of Gentry, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Heather Marie Switzer and Sean Fitzgerald of Old Fort, North Carolina; brothers, Jack (Sharon) Switzer of Spring Hill, Florida and Larry Switzer of Mount Dora, Florida; grandson, Cody Switzer as well as many nieces and nephews.
