Kay Marilyn Berghuis' Obituary
Kay M. Berghuis 80, of Mount Dora, passed away on February 28th, 2012. She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and moved here in 1960 from Wisconsin. She was Methodist and a candy maker for Pink Cottage Candies of Mount Dora. Kay was predeceased by her husband Richard in 2002. She is survived by her children Tracey (Bobby) Bawcum of Winter Haven, Jeffery Berghuis of Phoenix, Arizona and Francis (Peggy) Berghuis of Umatilla, grandchildren Jessica Alexander of Tavares, Andy Bawcum of Auburndale, Justin Berghuis of Umatilla, Nathan Berghuis of Baltimore, Maryland and Wendy Berghuis of Umatilla, great grandchildren Jared Alexander, A.J. Bawcum and Lily Berghuis. Memorial services were held in the Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel on Sunday, March 4th at 2 PM. The family requests those desiring direct memorials to Cornerstone Hospice.
